Admission & Selection Policies

(ONLY FEMALE CANDIDATE CAN APPLY) For Diploma in General Nursing & Midwifery (GNM):
  • Affiliated by West Bengal Nursing Council, Kolkata
  • Accredited by Indian Nursing Council, New Delhi.
  • Course Duration 3 Years.
  • Annual intake-:40 students
  • Age limit - 17 to 35 years
  • Education: The Candidates must pass 10+2 examination from any recognized board/council with minimum 40% marks in aggregated.
  • Residential/Domicile criteria: Candidate should be citizen of India. Candidate must be a permanent resident of West Bengal uninterruptedly for minimum five years.

Selection Process: The admission to GNM courses are through Joint Entrance Test titled ANM(R) & GNM conducted by West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board. For more details visit https://wbjeeb.nic.in
